Bangkok Forum

The Bangkok Forum “Future Sustainable Asia” is an integrative knowledge platform, a new initiative launched in 2018 by Chulalongkorn University with the support from Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies (KFAS). By catalyzing dialogues, discussions and debate from multidisciplinary, cross-country, and cross-sectoral perspectives/approaches, it aims to generate new ideas and explore means in transforming sustainability concepts into practice (and vice versa) at policy and other crucial levels of implementation and action. The Forum actively seeks meaningful engagements with civil society who can bring invaluable wisdom and empirical evidence from the ground.

The Forum will promote critical deliberation, debate, and collaboration on a wide range of topics, serving as a rich, inclusive gathering of scholars, public intellectuals, policy makers, practitioners and other like-minded persons, both from within the country and overseas. Chulalongkorn University aims to nurture the Forum into a lasting platform to facilitate enduring efforts towards creating sustainable Asia.
